Sounds like you all are having a ton of fun for the summer, thats good! I'll send some photos and a video of me sucking helium out of a balloon, some fun times for the 19th Birthday! Working out is hard, I'll start getting into it then I end up lying on the floor for 10 minutes because I'm lazy, but I'm working on that.  I cannot remember who that is, but if I saw a picture or something face to face my brain will probably click, then again I am terrible with remembering names anyways. I'M GETTING BETTER, but still bad at it. I've heard of Vanu Atu, a missionary I trained stayed there for 3 months and he said he loved it over there.  Grant is still crazy over basketball, that munchkin never ceases to amaze me. Sounds like the Finals were fun though, I have realized very quickly how out of the loop missionaries are out here. We hardly hear about news and just about anything that happens. Its really weird but its adjustable. Being in California anyways you

So my eyes have been straining a lot and I think I am going to be trying to get new glasses with a new prescription. Our mission nurse called you I believe to see if I have any eye insurance. Do I have any? And could you let me know the details if at all possible? Thank you Mom! I'll send my regular email later today just sending a quick one this morning BYE!! LOVE YA!! Question Answer Time! 1. My birthday was pretty fun. (I got some pictures and a video to send home so that'll be fun). On my birthday was our car fast so we got to bike to the mission office and bike for the entire day without our car! I'll talk into more detail about that later. 2. Yep the package got in on Thursday I think so the day before my birthday. Was perfect timing. Loved everything in there it was pretty awesome! 3. We ate out at Taco Bell for lunch and just ate dinner at home but I used the cookbook I got to make some fine omelets so it was pretty great! 4. I emailed Hunter last week and

I heard from Bryson that you all are at Roosevelt so that sounds like a ton of fun! I definitely loved going there being with the cousins and family so you'll have to let me know how it all goes. Heard also that Bryson, Grant, and Savannah all did good out there on the lake from Dad so sounds like everyone is having a good time. I'm assuming the package I sent made it there safe and sound and everyone got their gifts. Just had to find something fast and holy cow shipping stuff is expensive over here in California. That box just to be shipped was something like $15. But I mean it was worth it, using underwear as a packaging styrofoam was my idea, I know absolutely genius of me. Hold the applause for later. Also I heard you all are going to Utah for July? What are you all doing up there? I know Bryson is doing EFY and maybe Savannah? Sounds like it'll be a ton of fun though, will you be seeing eveyone up there? Also how has the projects been going in the backyard? I k

Question TIME! 1) So our week went pretty interestingly. We had Zone Conference for the valley on Wednesday and the one in the desert for Thursday and we still have to do things in the office so it's been pretty hectic but these next few weeks should be outright normal in terms of working and being able to proselyte! 2) The trainings went really good at the Zone Conferences. We gave trainings about how to use the new Area Book Planner and being able to send people to areas around the world so it can go to correct missionaries but also just other cool little tricks and things. 3) We might? We have phones so we could be able to just email on Monday at somewhere that has WiFi but we might have to do a different day but I guess you'll know whether or not you get an email on that day... Oh whale. Holy moly sounds like Savannah and Grant had a pretty fun time. I sent a package just today so hopefully it gets to everyone back home sometime this week. I left a gift for Bry

Yeah it was good to talk to the entire family again. I honestly miss everyone but its not distracting me, but I did enjoy the time spent being able to call. I try to keep my humor with me at all times, gotta just be myself but of course while trying to represent Jesus Christ and His church. Man sorry to hear that people are starting to get sick, I'll continue praying for y'all always but everyone will start feeling better eventually, that's how the human body should function, if not probably go talk to Dad. I think for Bryson its that age of life in just teenage stuff and high school drama on top of everything. But I do think just always trying to communicate whenever possible will make it better for everyone. I honestly cannot give such advice because you raised (and still raising) all four of us so you got the best advice. But I can say that the Savior's way of healing and loving everyone is the best example of love that can be shown. Mother's have that special bo

Question Answering Time: 1. The date for smartphones? Well this Monday we rolled them out to all the Zone Leaders and Sister Training Leaders and they are meeting tomorrow for a meeting with all the leaders to discuss how we'll learn to use our technology righteously. But it all begins this week and the next... Oh my goodness gracious I am so done with phones when all is said and done I'll be so happy when its all done here in the office. 2. Yes I got some pictures, I DIDN'T FORGET!! I honestly really missed being able to go to the temple a little more often than usually and when I get back I'll definitely try and make a more conscious effort to go to the temple because the feeling there is overwhelming compared to everything else. 3. The Buddhist Naing? He has been getting pretty busy and we have been in contact with him though. We are hopping to set up something soon because someone in the ward I am serving in used to be Buddhist so we are thinking of bringing h

Question Answering Time: 1. How was my week? Its been quite the roller coaster. Lots of phone nonsense to deal with and prepare for and we are going to be starting a new transfer this upcoming week so me and Elder Clawson have to do a lot of preparations for that so WOOH. 2. The phone set up? Its really annoying honestly. Have to charge the phones, boot em up, download a program and make names and passwords for all of them. Definitely something I never thought I would do in the mission but hay its the experience of everything! 3. Yeah I heard about the teacher strike from Bryson. I honestly saw it coming eventually. School teachers have a lot to deal with nowadays. You have to prepare lessons, teach a class, grade everything and keep everything and everyone up to date. And you also have to deal with a bunch of children. They honestly don't pay them enough but I guess we'll see how it goes. Sounds like y'all are going to have a lot of fun over there in the Baha

Yep the email worked this time. And I guess its time to answer some more questions! 1. Highlights of this week? We had 3 scheduled appointments yesterday which seemed really solid except at the end of it all they all fell through and no a single one was home unfortunately. Little disappointing but nothing you can do about it. 2. Yep kind of. Me, Elder Clawson, and the assistants to the President will be using the smartphones and working out the kinks and fancy dancy tools to help give trainings for when we roll them all out to the other missionaries in the mission. Which will happen in like 3-4ish weeks.  3. Is it going to be a crazy week? Definitely a couple of crazy weeks because we realized we have to charge EVERYONE's phones and get them all ready for the Zone Conference which is week 2 of next transfer and as of now it is week 5 of this current transfer. And we have to port all of our AT&T cards to T-Mobile because its better coverage for our mission so we have

No questions this time, you made my life so much easier thanks Mom! And if you read this email and start to beat yourself about not sending an email yesterday or today don't worry about it. I still love you just like the wonderful example you are! The best thing is going to be shared at the end anyways. Leaves more room to tell some stories in the email now! I guess I'll start with sharing a funny story that actually just happened yesterday. An hour right before church was going to start me and my companion were going about trying to talk to people and invite them to come to church. We started talking to this one dude washing his car with his child and while we were just talking with him I felt a really hard "splat" hit me on the head and see something on my glasses. And my immediate thought was "You have got to be kidding me right now. No way..." And as soon as we started walking away I asked my companion "I just got crapped on didn't I?"

Question Time: 1. My week was definitely interesting, I'll tell you about it in a bit later on in this email. 2. I have no idea yet, I'll be in the office tomorrow so I'll look for it and see if it came in the mail. We don't open those suckers until later and its going to be quite a hassle trying to figure these things out before we roll out ALL the smartphones to all the missionaries but I am looking forward to it and seeing the success that can be found. And yes I will be becoming a Facebook missionary, whoopdy doo for you! 3. Ideas for him? Well I was thinking of trying to get him something but I keep running out of time and forgetting but don't tell him that. I LOVE HIM, just shipping is really expensive... But maybe something that I thought of is giving him a book series called Mystborn or another series by Brandon Sanderson, I heard his books are really awesome and I'll probably read them when I get back. I honestly don't know, you know better th
