(3rd P-Day) 17 Days In I Think Hey Mom! Hey Dad! Yeah I got the phone you sent except if I'll try and use a Payphone or something else but if thats not the case I'll use the phone for the time that I am limited to. MTC Departure is August 28 and we checkout of the Travel Office at 11:50am. We are flying on Delta Airlines Flight 4765 from Salt Lake City to Ontario California the times are 5:17pm to 6:08pm so I think timezone difference has something to do with that. Also 23 people are in my travel group including me so thats a LOT of fun! Thats pretty funny with Grant, its alright that he doesn't remember the name but if it happens again just let Bryson try and help him figure out who it was. (There should be a Username or something and I could think of who it is).  Sounds like Savannah had a FANTASTIC time with her friends, I'm glad everything is going well for her and hopefully she starts school strong and keeps improving in her dance performances! August 19 2017: Survived a Week and Half (HAHA) So Missionary life is pretty interesting here in the MTC and I'm starting to get the hang of it. Waking up earlier at like 6:20AM and going to bed around 10:30PM, sometimes longer if we are having some deep or entertaining conversations together at night. Also Mom, THANK YOU for everything you have taught me and pushed me to do, and that Letter, I look at it every now and then because its a great pick me up if I ever get doubtful at what I'm trying to do here at the MTC. So I know I'll do my absolute best for the people of Rancho Cucamonga (when I do get there) which is like coming up pretty quickly now that I think about it. Time has reaaaaaally flown by when you are in tune with the spirit and hard at work (while also enjoying some laughs together as a Zone/District). We got the start doing something called TRC (Training Research Center) which is we teach investigators about the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day

1st Preparation Day (August 12 2017) So I've know been in the MTC for about 3-4 days since I arrived on Wed on this week. But everyone here is just super friendly and its going well. But I am having a bit of a hard time learning to teach people about the Gospel in the MTC but I am just barely learning so Im bound to get better as the days go by. My companion Elder Furse, he is from Hurken Utah and he was in college for a couple years so he is a little older than I am, 4 years older so I'll let you do the math. But Im sleeping and eating well (surprisingly) the food is alright, nothing to complain about, and Im getting always enough sleep. Its definitely different reading the scriptures and studying and pondering for a large amount of the day but I'm starting to get the hang of it. Hopefully, Piper starts feeling better but I cant worry too much, gotta focus on my work here in the MTC for when I go on my mission. We get to check our emails and respond back every Sat

May 10th Jarom opened his mission call! What an amazing experience!  Before our family and friends arrived to watch him open his call, Brett and I snuck upstairs to kneel in prayer with Jarom. Tears spilled down my cheeks and the Spirit filled his bedroom as I prayed for and with my sweet, sweet boy. All nerves went away and peace filled my heart. He was called to serve and was assigned to serve in the California Rancho Cucamonga mission! He reports to the MTC on August 9th and will be speaking English (which he is really excited about!) August 9th - (Holly) Saying goodbye to Jarom for two years was one of the hardest things I've ever done. I didn't sleep for weeks and cried all of the time during Jarom's senior year...but the last month...and especially the last week before he left, I was a mess of constant tears. The few days after he left were even harder. I struggled with wanting to stay in bed and also NOT wanting to be home...it felt so empty without
