Alright, in advance, I do not have a lot of time to email. So it's going to be REALLY rushed. I am currently emailing in a laundromat up in the desert of Apple Valley. Nope, I did not get transferred up to Barstow, but I am now in a more open part of the desert called Apple Valley, sadly there are no apples as far as I am concerned. My new companion is Elder Harris, from Detroit Michigan. I had the opportunity to pick him up from the airport his first day and now six months later we are now companions! So that's going to be pretty fun.

Chase's father was supportive of him talking to us and everything. If anything his father encouraged him to come out the mutual when we invited him to come. The father wasn't interested in learning anything at all, but he would always get Chase for us whenever we came by. Chase has been progressing pretty well too. It'll be up to the next missionaries to help him out and the area we covered.

Man holy cow I am really rushed for time. I will definitely do MUCH better next week in terms of actually telling you what's going on out here. I will ALSO make sure to take lots of pictures to make it up to you while I am out here. New Area, new beginnings, it'll be a ton of fun out here. Again so sorry that this is so short. I AM STILL ALIVE. So do not panic, I'll let you know everything that happens this upcoming week, it's going to be goooooood! LOVE YOU MOMMA!! Tell Dad and the kiddos I love em!!

I heard about that from another email and all those posts on Facebook about it. Tell her I send her my best wishes and prayers for them. Be safe on the way there! That was fun to hear about Grant though, he'll become a superstar the more he works at it, and that basketball court will help out, tell him when I get back I'll ball with him!  Concerning that jacket, just something more casual, the only one I have is that big one from the beginning so its can get warm. Just something for the preparation days or just lounging around at night. Probably should have but more information on that request, my bad! You can have Bryson pick something out, I'll make sure to email him today and maybe he'll do the same. We had some really cool things happen this week though. We started teaching this older couple, Ralph and Terry, and they are such great people. Ralph is currently in a wheelchair because he lost a foot, and I swear the jokes he cracks are phenomenal. This is my f...

Did You Think to Pray? I actually took pictures this week. And for some odd reason this computer is denying me the right to access those photos... Hold back the pitchforks for now, I'll fix the problem sometime soon. But besides from that one. The title comes from a praying mantis I saw while knocking on doors. I went to go ring a doorbell and there is this giant praying mantis guarding the bell. I ended up not wanting to fight the thing and knocked on the door. Something our mission does every transfer (which is a six week period of time kept by missionaries), we have this thing called a zone conference. And all the missionaries here in the desert got together. Which is always a fun experience being out for little over 13 months now seeing people I've grown to meet and love during my time here and catching up with them. But the whole reason we got together was to learn and grow in our service out here. And something that stuck out to me was learning to set goals, but mo...

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOMMA!! 🎂🎉. That's pretty funny that that Dad and the kiddos got you a cake, and that sounds like a ton of fun that you and the family are going out to do whatever you want. I think for New Years we'll just go to sleep, maybe, we still have to be awake at 6:30 in the morning. I didnt know you and the family was going out to Mexico, it sounded like a ton of fun. Its amazing how serving can give us a new perspective of love and thankfulness.  I was super grateful to talk to you and everyone in the family. It was funny seeing how Grant, Savannah, and Bryson have changed over time. It was honestly really weird talking to all of them. By the time I come home they'll be even more grown up. After the Christmas call we had some goodie bags made and gave them with #LightTheWorld cards to all our neighbors in our apartment complex and some other people.  We were walking down a street trying by some people that used to meet with missionaries and looki...
