Sorry this email is going to be pretty short. The libarary for the stake center is closed so I am typing on my phone, and its really tedious so just bear with me here.

This last week was insane. I got sick for 3 days and then when I got feeling better my companion had a migraine so we stayed in the apartment for 4 days straight... Then throughout the week a lot of random shenanigans happened that just threw us off. I honestly cannot describe what happened. But besides from that I did get to meet with Brother Donovan who is the counselor. The meeting went really well, he committed me to writing every night one moment I saw the Lord's Hand in the day. I'll be meeting with him next week. The packages havent come in yet, they will probably be here tomorrow. But I did get that Fall Package with all those goods you left for me and my companion. Sadly we were sick so its just sitting there.

Honestly really nothing happened this week besides the fact I pondered a lot and studied since we got stuck in the apartment. Its been getting harder and harder to stay motivated but I am trying... I dont even feel motivated to email, its almost a hassle now. But I am grateful for all your prayers and fasting. I dont know what is in store but I have been praying and hoping more than I ever have before...

I am sorry though this email is so short, next week should have some more in store. I'll let you know.

Did You Think to Pray? I actually took pictures this week. And for some odd reason this computer is denying me the right to access those photos... Hold back the pitchforks for now, I'll fix the problem sometime soon. But besides from that one. The title comes from a praying mantis I saw while knocking on doors. I went to go ring a doorbell and there is this giant praying mantis guarding the bell. I ended up not wanting to fight the thing and knocked on the door. Something our mission does every transfer (which is a six week period of time kept by missionaries), we have this thing called a zone conference. And all the missionaries here in the desert got together. Which is always a fun experience being out for little over 13 months now seeing people I've grown to meet and love during my time here and catching up with them. But the whole reason we got together was to learn and grow in our service out here. And something that stuck out to me was learning to set goals, but mo...

Dear Elder Brimhall, Hey bud! Hope you're doing a bit better than last week. Last weeks email was hard to read...but I'm also grateful that you're sharing what you're feeling. I hope you can continue to be that open and honest with us. Please don't stop writing. I don't think I could handle that. We got to talk to President Taylor again on Friday night. He said that he had just talked to you and you seemed to be doing a bit better. He said that counseling seemed to be helping some too. Do you feel like your counselor is a good fit with you? Bryson is going to counseling weekly too and I've noticed he seems to be doing quite a bit better. We went to dinner at Karli's house tonight. Garrett turned 12 last week and received the Aaronic priesthood today. Crazy to believe that Grant is next for that. We had 3 different kinds of soups, homemade rolls, and then Karli had made a double chocolate layer cake with crumbled up Heath candy bar on top. Pre...

I heard about that from another email and all those posts on Facebook about it. Tell her I send her my best wishes and prayers for them. Be safe on the way there! That was fun to hear about Grant though, he'll become a superstar the more he works at it, and that basketball court will help out, tell him when I get back I'll ball with him!  Concerning that jacket, just something more casual, the only one I have is that big one from the beginning so its can get warm. Just something for the preparation days or just lounging around at night. Probably should have but more information on that request, my bad! You can have Bryson pick something out, I'll make sure to email him today and maybe he'll do the same. We had some really cool things happen this week though. We started teaching this older couple, Ralph and Terry, and they are such great people. Ralph is currently in a wheelchair because he lost a foot, and I swear the jokes he cracks are phenomenal. This is my f...
