I heard about that from another email and all those posts on Facebook about it. Tell her I send her my best wishes and prayers for them. Be safe on the way there! That was fun to hear about Grant though, he'll become a superstar the more he works at it, and that basketball court will help out, tell him when I get back I'll ball with him! 

Concerning that jacket, just something more casual, the only one I have is that big one from the beginning so its can get warm. Just something for the preparation days or just lounging around at night. Probably should have but more information on that request, my bad! You can have Bryson pick something out, I'll make sure to email him today and maybe he'll do the same.

We had some really cool things happen this week though. We started teaching this older couple, Ralph and Terry, and they are such great people. Ralph is currently in a wheelchair because he lost a foot, and I swear the jokes he cracks are phenomenal. This is my favorite one from him, "Man I used to be 6'1, then they had to cut me a foot short. Whats up with that?". Then Terry, funny story, her sister is a member down in Rancho Cucamonga and I was in her ward for 6 months while I was in the office. So I got to talk to her for a bit this past Saturday because I went down for a baptism for someone I used to teach down in Rancho named Ethan Elliot. (Someone else took pictures and hopefully they will get them to me).

Besides from that though, things have kind of been a blur.  This past week we helped out with this thing called Squash 4 Friends, which is this community farm that wasnt growing squash at the time, but when the season comes, it'll come. We also got to do service at that exotic animal sanctuary again and I think some of the animals are starting to almost recognize me now. It was funny because after cleaning out one of the cages for a bird, it started letting me stroke it's feathers. So that was cool. I keep forgetting to take pictures all the time though... I'm gonna get them!!

We had some odd things happen this past week to be honest. We were out trying to talk to people at night and we saw two cats going at it in the middle of the road. We got new Tiwis, that little box that tells us how to drive "safer". Its a woman's voice now and its still throwing me off. Elder Johnson pretty much formed the 2nd Grand Canyon in his pants on his year mark in the mission. Lots of things happening!

Did You Think to Pray? I actually took pictures this week. And for some odd reason this computer is denying me the right to access those photos... Hold back the pitchforks for now, I'll fix the problem sometime soon. But besides from that one. The title comes from a praying mantis I saw while knocking on doors. I went to go ring a doorbell and there is this giant praying mantis guarding the bell. I ended up not wanting to fight the thing and knocked on the door. Something our mission does every transfer (which is a six week period of time kept by missionaries), we have this thing called a zone conference. And all the missionaries here in the desert got together. Which is always a fun experience being out for little over 13 months now seeing people I've grown to meet and love during my time here and catching up with them. Thanksgiving Week!

Hey Mom and Dad! This last week went by pretty slow for me (I think because it was week six of transfers so it felt weird). That's funny that all the kiddos want to sleep in, no more its time to get up and get work boys and girls! You guys already set up the Christmas tree? Nice! Sounds like you guys will be having a blast with the cousins up in Pinetop, make sure to send me some pictures! That's pretty funny that you got called to be the Sunday School President, I'm sure on of those kids is gonna need your help and love while you are fulfilling your calling. Teaching is going pretty interestingly, its the holidays so not many people are home or are with family outside the area but some more people are home so its odd but fun! I'll be spending Thanksgiving with a lesser active family called the Whites and they invited us for dinner so I'm happy for that! Hello Mom and Dad!

Thanksgiving was really awesome, we had dinner with a family where they have 5 boys and we got to spend our one dinner with them for that night. Got to eat deviled eggs, ham, turkey, mashed potatoes, crackers and cheese with ham, chili, some barbecue hotdogs, and lots of other food which was amazing! Everything else over here is going very well though! Although Elder Olson got sick for a day and we had to drive to an Urgent Care outside our zone so that was fun. Elder Olson is pretty much the same height as me and everything, why do you ask? I don't think its cold enough to get any extra layers of clothes or anything but thanks! That's awesome that everyone of the kids is doing well and doing the things they love! Funny how as soon as I leave you start having missionaries over for dinner, maybe we'll have to invite some more when I get back from my mission or something.
