I remember you telling me about what happened about great grandma Stapley, but now I know that she has passed away it brings some more peace and comfort. Seeing great grandpa Stapley pass away was hard and I know they're both together now. As for Hesperia, I've only been here for a week and I'm loving it a lot here. Our area is MUCH bigger than all the areas I've been in and its because its developed neighborhoods but also houses spread out over the desert. It should give me more opportunities for pictures so I'll jump on it. This area is reminding me a TON about my first area and I think I'm going to love it more. As for Elder McLaughlin, we are doing really well. We are both working hard and having laughs as we go. He's from Texas and he went to BYU Idaho before he left and its been fun so far! As for the special box, I couldn't find a companionship going down so I'm just going to ship a couple things home as presents and maybe donate some other things, I'm figuring it out as I go along. So sorry! 

 Thats fun to hear about Grant, I can't believe he'll be out of Primary by the time I'm back. And thats good to hear about Bryson, I'm going to have to ask him how fun that new game is. As for Savannah, good gracious she is one super busy lady. I also can't believe its almost Christmas as well, everytime we are out walking I always see one of those Christmas countdown decorations with the time left on it and its getting closer and closer. 

 Things have been going really well over here though. We're meeting with a couple people and helping them as they desire to learn and have a closer relationship with God and Jesus Christ. It rained a ton for about two days and it we were drenched for about the entirety of the day. The area is about half neighborhoods and the rest of it is just spread out houses over a ton of dirt roads and hills. Besides from that though its a ton of fun. 

 I'll try and respond throughout the day with what happens. I've been very bad at writing in my journal and hopefully I'll improve it so these emails have more depth of what is going on. Sorry for the lack of content! LOVE YOU MOMMA!!

Thanksgiving Week!

Hey Mom and Dad! This last week went by pretty slow for me (I think because it was week six of transfers so it felt weird). That's funny that all the kiddos want to sleep in, no more its time to get up and get work boys and girls! You guys already set up the Christmas tree? Nice! Sounds like you guys will be having a blast with the cousins up in Pinetop, make sure to send me some pictures! That's pretty funny that you got called to be the Sunday School President, I'm sure on of those kids is gonna need your help and love while you are fulfilling your calling. Teaching is going pretty interestingly, its the holidays so not many people are home or are with family outside the area but some more people are home so its odd but fun! I'll be spending Thanksgiving with a lesser active family called the Whites and they invited us for dinner so I'm happy for that! Did You Think to Pray? I actually took pictures this week. And for some odd reason this computer is denying me the right to access those photos... Hold back the pitchforks for now, I'll fix the problem sometime soon. But besides from that one. The title comes from a praying mantis I saw while knocking on doors. I went to go ring a doorbell and there is this giant praying mantis guarding the bell. I ended up not wanting to fight the thing and knocked on the door. Something our mission does every transfer (which is a six week period of time kept by missionaries), we have this thing called a zone conference. And all the missionaries here in the desert got together. Which is always a fun experience being out for little over 13 months now seeing people I've grown to meet and love during my time here and catching up with them. Hello Mom and Dad!

Thanksgiving was really awesome, we had dinner with a family where they have 5 boys and we got to spend our one dinner with them for that night. Got to eat deviled eggs, ham, turkey, mashed potatoes, crackers and cheese with ham, chili, some barbecue hotdogs, and lots of other food which was amazing! Everything else over here is going very well though! Although Elder Olson got sick for a day and we had to drive to an Urgent Care outside our zone so that was fun. Elder Olson is pretty much the same height as me and everything, why do you ask? I don't think its cold enough to get any extra layers of clothes or anything but thanks! That's awesome that everyone of the kids is doing well and doing the things they love! Funny how as soon as I leave you start having missionaries over for dinner, maybe we'll have to invite some more when I get back from my mission or something.
