Alright Question time:
1. How'd the week go? Well we had zone conferences so we had it in the desert and the valley so that took out a good chunk of time during the day. But I was able to learn a lot regarding studies and how can we get more out of them. After all the purpose of studying is rooting ourselves more in the gospel and replenishing our understanding. I feel like if we have a purpose of why we are studying or praying to learn about new things it'll be given unto us.
2. Anything exciting? Well recently our mission and a couple missions ran into a little problem. All the missions with technology using the MaaS360 app had a pretty harsh thing happen. Somehow all the apps or things we use got disabled and removed so we no longer have our Area Book Planner, Facebook Messenger, and a ton of other apps that are to make the work move forward. Lots of missionaries called us this morning. I counted 22 phone calls and 11 text messages from all different missionaries.
3. Yup I heard from Bryson, poor dude. No I did not actually, that's a ton of fun that Dad picked the Jeep, don't try too hard to have a lot of fun, can't cause too much trouble out there. Yup I got the postcard from you and Sister Kerby's mom together. Looks like you two have been having a ton of fun.

Yeah the haircut ain't the best. It'll grow back soon, hopefully fast. I've accepted it now but oh my goodness it does not feel right to feel wind on the top of my head. No bueno. Glad to hear the missionaries and everyone is alright, its no fun getting into situations like that. Glad to hear Dad is constantly trying his best to help the company grow and help others out. You'll definitely have to send me a picture of the Jeep once he gets it all decked out and such.

Sounds like a ton of people are leaving for their missions and coming home from them all the time.  I guess thats what happens when you live in a pretty densely populated "Church of the Restored Gospel" community. I'm not sure if you saw the post in the Newsroom on lds.org about the name change and trying to get rid of the word Mormon or LDS. I've been trying to force myself to stop saying the word Mormon but holy cow its a lot harder than it looks after saying it so many times. And its practically the holy word people recognize about us but oh well, I'm working on it.

This week was pretty hectic with the zone conferences on Wednesday and Thursday. Just having to finish all the office work on Tuesday and Friday and then finally being able to get out there and PREACH. Though I have been running into a bit of dilemma out here in all honesty. I know Heavenly Father loves ALL His children but I honestly don't know HOW he does it. One thing for certain for me, is it is very hard to love everyone, especially in California. Its practically like trying to preach to the dissented Nephites out here. But its gotta be done. Thats the fun part about all of it I guess. Lots of trials and tribulations then you get that spark of joy that makes you forget everything, then that rinses and repeats. Its honestly the oddest thing but it works everytime.

Besides from all of that though. We had a lot of return appointments fall through so we'll be trying to get and find more people to teach out here. Right now I'm just trying to find the joy in the work if that makes any sense. Missions can be a discouraging thing but just the fact that you know the gospel is true practically gives a driving force to talk to people almost. Its a weird relationship. I'm gonna be talking with my mission president a little bit more about the whole ordeal cause I wanna keep going strong out here.

Otherwise though don't worry about me. I'm out here on the Lord's errand and you got to make sure everything works out for you and the family on your end. I LOVE YOU MOMMA! Keep staying strong and tell all the kiddos I love em!! I'll try and take more pictures this week, it was a little hectic out here. LOVE YA!!

We were able to meet with Chase on last Tuesday and he actually came to mutual with one of the young men. We plan with meeting with him again on this Tuesday. But yeah I forgot to mention that sooooooorry

Thanksgiving Week!

Hey Mom and Dad! This last week went by pretty slow for me (I think because it was week six of transfers so it felt weird). That's funny that all the kiddos want to sleep in, no more its time to get up and get work boys and girls! You guys already set up the Christmas tree? Nice! Sounds like you guys will be having a blast with the cousins up in Pinetop, make sure to send me some pictures! That's pretty funny that you got called to be the Sunday School President, I'm sure on of those kids is gonna need your help and love while you are fulfilling your calling. Teaching is going pretty interestingly, its the holidays so not many people are home or are with family outside the area but some more people are home so its odd but fun! I'll be spending Thanksgiving with a lesser active family called the Whites and they invited us for dinner so I'm happy for that! The Ward is absolutely amazing, the people are so nice to the missionaries and we practically have a dinner every...

Did You Think to Pray? I actually took pictures this week. And for some odd reason this computer is denying me the right to access those photos... Hold back the pitchforks for now, I'll fix the problem sometime soon. But besides from that one. The title comes from a praying mantis I saw while knocking on doors. I went to go ring a doorbell and there is this giant praying mantis guarding the bell. I ended up not wanting to fight the thing and knocked on the door. Something our mission does every transfer (which is a six week period of time kept by missionaries), we have this thing called a zone conference. And all the missionaries here in the desert got together. Which is always a fun experience being out for little over 13 months now seeing people I've grown to meet and love during my time here and catching up with them. But the whole reason we got together was to learn and grow in our service out here. And something that stuck out to me was learning to set goals, but mo...

Hello Mom and Dad!

Thanksgiving was really awesome, we had dinner with a family where they have 5 boys and we got to spend our one dinner with them for that night. Got to eat deviled eggs, ham, turkey, mashed potatoes, crackers and cheese with ham, chili, some barbecue hotdogs, and lots of other food which was amazing! Everything else over here is going very well though! Although Elder Olson got sick for a day and we had to drive to an Urgent Care outside our zone so that was fun. Elder Olson is pretty much the same height as me and everything, why do you ask? I don't think its cold enough to get any extra layers of clothes or anything but thanks! That's awesome that everyone of the kids is doing well and doing the things they love! Funny how as soon as I leave you start having missionaries over for dinner, maybe we'll have to invite some more when I get back from my mission or something. Um I don't know anything about plans for Christmas yet but I'll email you when I find out the det...
