Hello Mom and Dad!

How's it going? Long time no see, quite literally, but how's it been back in Arizona? I got your package with the fortune cookies, chopsticks, socks, chocolates, that super awesome looking tie, and other letters and goodies. Thank you so much for those! I have been slacking when it came to writing paper letters so I'll try and get back into the groove of things. Everything in the mission field has been an adventure, as usual, and somehow I've been in the mission field for already 2 months, like where the heack did time go like COME BACK. Seriously though the work here has been hard but I never expected it to be easy and so far as much as I work there are blessings around every corner, even if its not on that day. Putting the best foot forward and continuing forward in faith is action in itself and just keeping forward helps out a lot. Also being able to have the thought that maybe I planted a seed in the hearts of others is enough to keep me going. The mission work ...

Hello Mom and Dad!

How's it going family?! That's awesome that Bryson got his Driver's Permit and it will be scary at frist but he'll get the hang of it. Just takes practice and little by little he'll be cruising "safely" down the streets. Looks like you guys had fun that Fall Break and having cousins over! Bummer that Grant lost by a couple of points but there's always something we can learn from defeat, even in the mission field here. I would like to thank you guys for sending me that shirt, it looks a tad too big but I haven't tried it on YET, but it looks SOOO GOOD. Also thank you for sending me that Acne stuff it will help cleaning up my face. Good luck with those conferences coming up dadio! Hopefully you got that Email from one of the members, Brother Zavala, took us out to dinner at FarmerBoys and it was super good (sent to Mom's email I believe). Turns out I was scheduled to give a talk this Sunday in the ward I am serving in so that'll be fun. I...

Weekly Email (10/16/2017)

Hello Mom and Dad! How have you all been? Looks like you all had fun in California and up in Pinetop! I'm glad you all had fun and I hope and pray for you all always! I mailed the iPod and the cord thing together... I guess someone just stole the iPod when I had tried to send it back home. That's pretty unfortunate and I hope that person realizes the guilt and shame in stealing. But thank goodness for repentance right? You got me a T-shirt?! I can only imagine what it might be. I should be fine with the jacket you sent me so it'll be great (hopefully). I'll let you know through email if I need another one or something else.  I have no idea about Jacob's farewell but when I find out I'll make sure to let you know! I've heard from Rebekah every now and then, she is having a blast up in Provo BYU! I have had the opportunity to play "chair soccer" which is pretty much hitting chairs as the goals with a soccer ball, it was pretty fun...

10/10/2017 Its Now Been 2 Months?

Yesterday was Columbus Day or something so the library was closed, oh well. Everything has been going pretty well, still learning in the mission field and I swear everyday I read the scriptures I learn something new, like every dang time. I've read the Book of Mormon more than once but reading it in the mission field, I seem to pick up some pretty key things that are like *BOOM* new concept that gets you hooked and thinking. I did try on the jacket and it its a bit baggy and big. But when it does get colder I'll try it on and see how it goes when I'm proselyting in it. To be honest, no tears were shed when Elder Ruiz left and it was just a hug and good luck and be safe on the flight back home. It didn't feel too hard but I know he'll do great back home. And yup I'm staying in Victorville still, the work continues! My new companion is Elder Olson, super great guy and funny to talk with, we literally had the best conversations already and I just met him ye...

Another Week into the New Month!

Hello Mom and Dad!! I'm glad to hear you both got callings, and how ironic is that you both got callings IN scouts, talk about working together. It'll be a lot of fun and something to always remember about our callings is there is always a reason. We may not see it at first but when we look through our "spiritual glasses" we can see what we can do for others! That's pretty funny how Grant now uses "BOB" in Basketball, but that really does help out a lot. Bryson can be a funny one and I think we may have to revise those morning chores we have. Awesome to hear that you were able to have Family Home Evening and I know as you keep coming together as a family and building that foundation of love and the gospel it can bring us closer together. I know it will. I'm actually really curious, where on earth did Mom get a picture of me eating ice cream? I didn't give anyone that I know your guy's phone numbers or anything. So please enlighten me ...

Weekly Email (September 25 2017)

Hello Mom and Dad! Thats crazy how Bryson has already gotten taller than you, tell him to stop or he is getting a behind whooping when I get back (if he gets past six foot let me know IMMEDIATELY). Thats unfortunate that all those trees are trying to make a come back, good luck getting them out of there! I actually made a goal in my Weekly Planner to take more photos so I am dedicating myself to doing that, (woot woot). Yeah I'm really excited for General Conference this weekend, if you sent the package I unfortunately won't get it until next week (but maybe I might who knows), but I did get that jacket in the mail, the Zone Leaders looked at me like "What the heack is in there?". Just send whatever you feel like will be alright, I'm sure your judgement will be great enough. And I'm pretty sure I can just transfer music from a flashdrive to the shuffle if I'm using a computer, if not I'll just send the iPod shuffle to you in the mail!  I'm ...

The first Jacket looks really good, the IZOD Men's Resistant Midweight Jacket with Polar Fleece Lining. Yeah I noticed and heard from other people in the area that it can get pretty cold, even though we are in the desert (who knew?). But I have heard from Grandma Kathy every week but not from any of the cousins, Hunter did email in the first week but I think he is plenty busy. I'm glad to see everyone is having fun and doing well, and nice job with Savannah giving that talk during Sacrament meeting, it can be a little nerve racking getting up and talking to everyone. But we eventually can break down those barriers and build up our confidence in physical and spiritual means. I've learned just from walking up and down streets, knocking on doors, and sharing our message with everyone to "Come unto Christ" that it will take some time for me to just walk up to EVERYONE that I feel like I should talk to and just start talking. Its still new to me and to be honest its ha...
