Yeah it was good to talk to the entire family again. I honestly miss everyone but its not distracting me, but I did enjoy the time spent being able to call. I try to keep my humor with me at all times, gotta just be myself but of course while trying to represent Jesus Christ and His church. Man sorry to hear that people are starting to get sick, I'll continue praying for y'all always but everyone will start feeling better eventually, that's how the human body should function, if not probably go talk to Dad. I think for Bryson its that age of life in just teenage stuff and high school drama on top of everything. But I do think just always trying to communicate whenever possible will make it better for everyone. I honestly cannot give such advice because you raised (and still raising) all four of us so you got the best advice. But I can say that the Savior's way of healing and loving everyone is the best example of love that can be shown. Mother's have that special bond I do believe. The closest thing we have to Christlike love besides from the Spirit, cannot replace a Mom though, no way no how.

I guess I don't really have a lot to talk about since we kind of just talked yesterday but I'll definitely do better next week for sure. I'll make sure to take some pictures for you Mom, I know you love em and I gotta make a more "conscious" effort to take pictures I kind of just don't do it but I'll make sure to do it for sure. I'll make it a goal how bout that!

But I guess to add to the birthday list you were asking for is maybe just a how to begin drawing of something. Like action or people or faces? I don't know something along the lines of that, maybe have Bryson pick for you. He always has the best ideas when it comes to me for some reason, he is funny like that. And I did tell Bryson to tell you about a suggestion so I guess we'll see what happens. I'm going to try and send a package today home to you guys and if not hopefully next week, either way it'll have some little gifts for all of them (I forgot to give Piper something though so maybe next time). Anyways though I gotta get going, love you Momma!!!

Thanks Dad. You gotta give yourself a ton of the credit though because your example is what molded me into who I am today. A combination of You, Mom, and of course life with all is fun little things here and there so its a fun little clay making party I guess? Terrible joke I know, hold the tomatoes until I finish. It was good to talk with everyone again, I miss you all, you just couldn't see it. But you probably knew that anyways, thanks for offering the a-salt gun but I'll just have to pass on that. Maybe when I get back me and you can go bug hunting sometime, or actual hunting. Except hopefully I actually pull the trigger I suppose. And I'll try and learn how to swallow pills, no promises though, I'll try though.

Oh I bought that tuna you showed yesterday and a thing of mac-and-cheese so I'll make it tonight and try it tomorrow and then make a video with how it tastes since you wanted me SO BAD to try it.

Little unfortunate the church wifi cut out in the middle of my prayer. It was probably Heavenly Father having a little fun in the mix and reminding me that "Hey there gotta get back to work". Or because church wifi but either way I was super glad to talk with everyone. Yeah I miss Bryson too, I try and keep in constant communication with him, I know he'll do great things. He is super smart and he'll go far. Just keep loving him and being that strong parental example Dad. You got this afterwall.

Altogether though not much more to talk about over here on my side. I love you all deeply and I appreciate the prayers. All the missionaries definitely do need it and I'll always remember to pray for you all as well. Love you Dad!!!

Did You Think to Pray? I actually took pictures this week. And for some odd reason this computer is denying me the right to access those photos... Hold back the pitchforks for now, I'll fix the problem sometime soon. But besides from that one. The title comes from a praying mantis I saw while knocking on doors. I went to go ring a doorbell and there is this giant praying mantis guarding the bell. I ended up not wanting to fight the thing and knocked on the door. Something our mission does every transfer (which is a six week period of time kept by missionaries), we have this thing called a zone conference. And all the missionaries here in the desert got together. Which is always a fun experience being out for little over 13 months now seeing people I've grown to meet and love during my time here and catching up with them. But the whole reason we got together was to learn and grow in our service out here. And something that stuck out to me was learning to set goals, but mo...

Dear Elder Brimhall, Hey bud! Hope you're doing a bit better than last week. Last weeks email was hard to read...but I'm also grateful that you're sharing what you're feeling. I hope you can continue to be that open and honest with us. Please don't stop writing. I don't think I could handle that. We got to talk to President Taylor again on Friday night. He said that he had just talked to you and you seemed to be doing a bit better. He said that counseling seemed to be helping some too. Do you feel like your counselor is a good fit with you? Bryson is going to counseling weekly too and I've noticed he seems to be doing quite a bit better. We went to dinner at Karli's house tonight. Garrett turned 12 last week and received the Aaronic priesthood today. Crazy to believe that Grant is next for that. We had 3 different kinds of soups, homemade rolls, and then Karli had made a double chocolate layer cake with crumbled up Heath candy bar on top. Pre...

Weekly Email (9/18/2017)

The first Jacket looks really good, the IZOD Men's Resistant Midweight Jacket with Polar Fleece Lining. Yeah I noticed and heard from other people in the area that it can get pretty cold, even though we are in the desert (who knew?). But I have heard from Grandma Kathy every week but not from any of the cousins, Hunter did email in the first week but I think he is plenty busy. I'm glad to see everyone is having fun and doing well, and nice job with Savannah giving that talk during Sacrament meeting, it can be a little nerve racking getting up and talking to everyone. But we eventually can break down those barriers and build up our confidence in physical and spiritual means. I've learned just from walking up and down streets, knocking on doors, and sharing our message with everyone to "Come unto Christ" that it will take some time for me to just walk up to EVERYONE that I feel like I should talk to and just start talking. Its still new to me and to be honest its ha...
