Thanksgiving Week!

Hey Mom and Dad! This last week went by pretty slow for me (I think because it was week six of transfers so it felt weird). That's funny that all the kiddos want to sleep in, no more its time to get up and get work boys and girls! You guys already set up the Christmas tree? Nice! Sounds like you guys will be having a blast with the cousins up in Pinetop, make sure to send me some pictures! That's pretty funny that you got called to be the Sunday School President, I'm sure on of those kids is gonna need your help and love while you are fulfilling your calling. Teaching is going pretty interestingly, its the holidays so not many people are home or are with family outside the area but some more people are home so its odd but fun! I'll be spending Thanksgiving with a lesser active family called the Whites and they invited us for dinner so I'm happy for that! The Ward is absolutely amazing, the people are so nice to the missionaries and we practically have a dinner every night so that helps with food wise.
Status Update for the Week:
Last Thursday I got the call to serve a leadership position as District Leader from our mission president down in Rancho Cucamonga. I don't know why to be honest, I've just been trying to stay obedient and work hard but we are getting a lot of success as far as numbers wise. Just been able to barely meet with people let alone get people progressing in the gospel. But I just keep hoping and praying that the work will continue forward in God's own time and pace especially because conversion is a personal progression for the people. But every day is a battle and it keeps the days more exciting and work filled every day, I love it so much even though it can get rough. This last week was just interesting I'll say that much but I'll send some pictures next week because I forgot to bring the USB cord for the camera.
I'll make sure to take plenty of pictures for the upcoming week and for Thanksgiving as well! Anyways I hope you all stay safe and have fun!!

From your Elder Son,
Elder Brimhall

Yes me and Elder Olson get to stay together for another Transfer by the looks of it so I'm super happy about that!

We don't get packages on Transfer Week because of all the missionaries and luggage moving around so I'll most likely get what ever it was next week :)

I'll come up with  ideas (for Christmas presents) along the way and I'm sure Bryson can help out as well!

Thank you guys so much for the support and love you given to me throughout the years and while I'm still away. I know you guys will be safe in the Lord's hands

January 1, 2018 - Hi Mom!

Sorry that I am emailing a little late right now, was busy going through a meeting for "Train the Trainers" because I am now training a missionary who has been for only 1 transfer. So currently I have been transferred to Ontario where I am now in a bike area so that'll be pretty fun and I am training Elder De La Torre who is from Las Vegas Nevada! Its going to be a little weird since now I see trees everyone and there are sooo many houses and just people everywhere in this green environment instead of being stuck in the desert. But altogether its been a pretty fun week, it was my last week with Elder Olson and we had so much fun together while working and just when it was starting to pick up I get moved out, but President Taylor feels it best for me to be here for Elder DeLaTorre so I'll do my best and help him out. I don't have a lot of time to email but hopefully next week I'll be able to actually give you a lot of information about whats going and picture...

Hello Mom and Dad!!

Glad to hear everyone is doing really well! What is actually funny is since I was still a little sick I called the mission nurse and she asked me who she just saw, and mentioned Mom dropping by with Sister Kerby's mom dropping off gifts so that caught me off guard. But that is super awesome that you took the time and love to give gifts to everyone! Time can fly by pretty quickly sometimes and other days it just seems to drag on for awhile but all together I've been out for more than 4 months now... Time really has just flew. And YES we do get to talk on Christmas using Skype, I recently got an email from my Mission President with information on rules and regulations. We get about 30-40 minutes at the maximum and I believe we'll be able to text your number with the member's phone or call ahead as we prepare to Skype (the Hannett Family offered their home for Skyping for us). But for everything pertaining to that on Christmas Day even though its supposed to be our Prepara...
