Hi Momma!

Yeah I am in a new area, and in a new apartment which is a lot nicer than the older one I stayed in, just has a lot more room (I forgot to take pictures which I promise to do that). It's just me and Elder de La Torre in this apartment. From what I can tell you Elder de La Torre is from Las Vegas, Nevada which is super close to our mission and it turns out he is actually a "trial missionary" and he might be staying in this mission or be called to somewhere else. His mom is a member and his father is currently investigating in the church so it's pretty cool. He loves music and played in a mariachi band for a little while and did orchestra so he is pretty awesome, and he speaks fluent spanish which helps when we run into a lot of spanish speaking people here in Ontario.
Yeah it is kind of crazy how fast time has flown by honestly, I feel like I've been here for awhile even though I haven't and even though the end is far away it seems to be coming up kind of quickly, really scary to think about honestly.

That's awesome that you bore your testimony, we actually had Stake Conference this Saturday and Sunday and the Apostle Elder Dallin H. Oaks was there along with Elder Gent of the 70 were there to speak. I honestly loved what he shared with everyone during the meeting, he talked about how the gospel isn't an intellectual thing, its straight from the heart and a direct line to Jesus Christ and our Father in heaven. And a lot of really cool stories were shared but my time is limited and I'm trying to keep it short-ish.

Me and Elder de La Torre have been getting along really well actually, we work well together and we are like a "Spanglish" Missionary Companionship because he speaks Spanish and I speak English so it's a power move. And also being in a bike area we get to bike around a lot and it really does work out the legs so its pretty fantastic. On top of that I haven't been able to really meet the ward yet but with the people I have met its going to be pretty fun here and I hope I can do everything I can for the people here in this area. The investigators we have really have a want and desire and I pray I'll be the one to help them along their path as they make those decisions.

That is fun that the kids are already picking out movies for me to watch, I'm going to be on a month long movie marathon if they keep it up to the end of my mission. Any who I love you so much and hope everything goes well for everyone back home!

From,
Elder Brimhall

I honestly cannot recall who Connor Peterson is right now. My brain has a REALLY hard time remembering people's names with their faces, you already know that though so I'll let you sigh in defeat over there. Every time they sing "God Be With You Til We Meet Again" is such a good one, gets me every time as well, its a good one in general though, personally one of my favorites. I think one of my favorite hymms of all time though would have to be "Come Thou Fount of Every Blessing". Such a good one. I can imagine its pretty hard to not wanna hug me. I'm a hug-able guy I guess. If I was in your shoes I would probably have floored the gas pedal as well, or probably go around the area in a 30 mile radius so I don't get the temptation, but hey you used your agency wisely so good job Mom! I have noticed that about being the decider, but I do believe we have to have a fine line of deciding but also being willing to submit to what others decide as well. We...

Question Answering Time: 1. The date for smartphones? Well this Monday we rolled them out to all the Zone Leaders and Sister Training Leaders and they are meeting tomorrow for a meeting with all the leaders to discuss how we'll learn to use our technology righteously. But it all begins this week and the next... Oh my goodness gracious I am so done with phones when all is said and done I'll be so happy when its all done here in the office. 2. Yes I got some pictures, I DIDN'T FORGET!! I honestly really missed being able to go to the temple a little more often than usually and when I get back I'll definitely try and make a more conscious effort to go to the temple because the feeling there is overwhelming compared to everything else. 3. The Buddhist Naing? He has been getting pretty busy and we have been in contact with him though. We are hopping to set up something soon because someone in the ward I am serving in used to be Buddhist so we are thinking of bringing h...

Questions Being Answered: - This week went pretty swell thanks for asking! - Yeah we got a couple days of rain, I just wore my big jacket and didn't care about everything else. So it was pretty fun, thanks for the rain checkup! - No I do not have a poncho but that's OK! - We have had a couple missionaries leave early due to illnesses and other problems but it happens to everyone. I don't know about the number of missionaries but I know it happens. I'll be knowing more about things soon though (I'll let you know why in a bit). - Nope I did not get pinched thankfully. That was because Elder Pedersen was sick for an entire two days and he absolutely hated not being able to work. So we all got stuck in the apartment unfortunately but that means we get to work extra hard! - Not yet, I'll stop by an Wells Fargo ATM some time, no worries. You don't have to email President Taylor, its gonna be alright. I haven't been using my Wells Fargo account card...
