Question Answering Time:
1. How was my week? Its been quite the roller coaster. Lots of phone nonsense to deal with and prepare for and we are going to be starting a new transfer this upcoming week so me and Elder Clawson have to do a lot of preparations for that so WOOH.

2. The phone set up? Its really annoying honestly. Have to charge the phones, boot em up, download a program and make names and passwords for all of them. Definitely something I never thought I would do in the mission but hay its the experience of everything!

3. Yeah I heard about the teacher strike from Bryson. I honestly saw it coming eventually. School teachers have a lot to deal with nowadays. You have to prepare lessons, teach a class, grade everything and keep everything and everyone up to date. And you also have to deal with a bunch of children. They honestly don't pay them enough but I guess we'll see how it goes.

Sounds like y'all are going to have a lot of fun over there in the Bahamas. And holy cow sounds like you guys are going to have quite the adventure. Honestly when I get back I'm just going to want to relax for a little bit. Catch up with family and friends, get back on my feet, probably work and get ready for schooling but I guess we'll see as time goes. Remember to take pictures for me while you are over there (ironic I know don't start screaming yet). Recently me and Elder Clawson were able to find more people to teach! We are starting to teach this man originally from Burma and he is Buddhist. It was really strange trying to teach someone who had ZERO knowledge about God so we are going to have to teach little by little and hopefully it'll work out! And we also met a Filipino family of 5, a mom, dad, with 2 girls and a boy around the ages of 10-17 so that'll be fun. Our first lesson with them was super awesome. 

Also the reason why I am emailing on a Tuesday was because today we went to the temple! Its been a little while since I was in it, our mission gets to go on a 6 month period, and when you depart from the mission so it felt SO GOOD to go back. Just to feel the peace and comfort that came from being in the walls and in the Celestial room was amazing. I'm going to try and make a conscious effort when I get back to attend more often. But on top of that I am pretty low on time because the temple took 35 minutes there and 35 minutes back and the temple session so I'll email you next week for sure!! The next time I email will probably on a Wednesday because of transfers next week but I'm sure you'll be fine. Say hi to everyone for me and have fun!! LOVE YOU MOM!!

Hi Momma!

Yeah I am in a new area, and in a new apartment which is a lot nicer than the older one I stayed in, just has a lot more room (I forgot to take pictures which I promise to do that). It's just me and Elder de La Torre in this apartment. From what I can tell you Elder de La Torre is from Las Vegas, Nevada which is super close to our mission and it turns out he is actually a "trial missionary" and he might be staying in this mission or be called to somewhere else. His mom is a member and his father is currently investigating in the church so it's pretty cool. He loves music and played in a mariachi band for a little while and did orchestra so he is pretty awesome, and he speaks fluent spanish which helps when we run into a lot of spanish speaking people here in Ontario.  Yeah it is kind of crazy how fast time has flown by honestly, I feel like I've been here for awhile even though I haven't and even though the end is far away it seems to be coming up kind of qu...

A New Perspective Hence the title, I got new glasses since my old perscriptions were causing a bit of strain, but we are feeling better now and kicking into overdrive! Don't worry there will be a photo at the very end with the new glasses, don't get too excited yet you still have to drag through this email. But lets move on shall we. This past week... I'll be completely honest it has been a struggle here. Not going to lie, my hardest area yet since being in the mission field. My companion and I go straight to the mission office to make sure everything in the mission moves forward and everyone's jobs are easier... Then we go into our teaching area and try and find people. In my entire time here, its been 4 months now we have found only a couple people that would let us teach them. And they all dont want to meet anymore. I honestly cannot recall who Connor Peterson is right now. My brain has a REALLY hard time remembering people's names with their faces, you already know that though so I'll let you sigh in defeat over there. Every time they sing "God Be With You Til We Meet Again" is such a good one, gets me every time as well, its a good one in general though, personally one of my favorites. I think one of my favorite hymms of all time though would have to be "Come Thou Fount of Every Blessing". Such a good one. I can imagine its pretty hard to not wanna hug me. I'm a hug-able guy I guess. If I was in your shoes I would probably have floored the gas pedal as well, or probably go around the area in a 30 mile radius so I don't get the temptation, but hey you used your agency wisely so good job Mom! I have noticed that about being the decider, but I do believe we have to have a fine line of deciding but also being willing to submit to what others decide as well. We...
