11/13/17 Hello Family!

Sounds like you guys are having a ton of fun! Bet Thanksgiving will be a blast and I hope everything goes well for you all in the coming week. Some people I've been working with are Arleen who is in her 40s and works in a hospital and has been accepting the gospel REALLY well. Another is Isaiah who is only 12 years old and he wanted to learn more about God. Then there's DJ who is 17 and he's been looking for a stronger relationship with God. Those are the most consistent investigators then there's other people who I love so dearly but their schedules are just out of whack. Me and Elder Olson have been having member dinners like EVERY NIGHT and it  really helps because we get to know the ward more and learn to love and help them more. Meal wise though we get a ton of different varieties of foods and its usually delicious and when we make dinner for ourselves (which isn't very often) I make couscous and some bean/cheese tortillas on the griddle pan we have. I've been doing very well with budgeting myself and still having food and money for emergencies I suppose (at least more than others apparently so yay?)

Everything has been going well here in the mission field. Work has been picking up a lot recently with every day that we go out in faith. Even though we get rejected, denied, or just shooed away there are others still out there waiting for someone to reach out to them. It is hard though out here because most people say they just goto church and they are fine and dandy, but its not just about going to church. It's living the gospel every day and being that example of Christ unto others and people do notice that difference. But me and Elder Olson have been blessed with so many potential people and less actives to visit and teach that almost we can't get to them all in a week AND we are still trying to find others to talk to so work here is going and going.

I do have some pictures though for everyone so HAPPY DAY.

But I pray for you all always and I hope everything goes well for yeah!! If you email me fast enough I can probably reply soon but time is at the essence and emails gotta gooooooo.

Love your eldest son (puns),
Elder Brimhall

January 1, 2018 - Hi Mom!

Sorry that I am emailing a little late right now, was busy going through a meeting for "Train the Trainers" because I am now training a missionary who has been for only 1 transfer. So currently I have been transferred to Ontario where I am now in a bike area so that'll be pretty fun and I am training Elder De La Torre who is from Las Vegas Nevada! Its going to be a little weird since now I see trees everyone and there are sooo many houses and just people everywhere in this green environment instead of being stuck in the desert. But altogether its been a pretty fun week, it was my last week with Elder Olson and we had so much fun together while working and just when it was starting to pick up I get moved out, but President Taylor feels it best for me to be here for Elder DeLaTorre so I'll do my best and help him out. I don't have a lot of time to email but hopefully next week I'll be able to actually give you a lot of information about whats going and picture...

Hello Mom and Dad!!

Glad to hear everyone is doing really well! What is actually funny is since I was still a little sick I called the mission nurse and she asked me who she just saw, and mentioned Mom dropping by with Sister Kerby's mom dropping off gifts so that caught me off guard. But that is super awesome that you took the time and love to give gifts to everyone! Time can fly by pretty quickly sometimes and other days it just seems to drag on for awhile but all together I've been out for more than 4 months now... Time really has just flew. And YES we do get to talk on Christmas using Skype, I recently got an email from my Mission President with information on rules and regulations. We get about 30-40 minutes at the maximum and I believe we'll be able to text your number with the member's phone or call ahead as we prepare to Skype (the Hannett Family offered their home for Skyping for us). But for everything pertaining to that on Christmas Day even though its supposed to be our Prepara...

Hello Mom and Dad!

Thanksgiving was really awesome, we had dinner with a family where they have 5 boys and we got to spend our one dinner with them for that night. Got to eat deviled eggs, ham, turkey, mashed potatoes, crackers and cheese with ham, chili, some barbecue hotdogs, and lots of other food which was amazing! Everything else over here is going very well though! Although Elder Olson got sick for a day and we had to drive to an Urgent Care outside our zone so that was fun. Elder Olson is pretty much the same height as me and everything, why do you ask? I don't think its cold enough to get any extra layers of clothes or anything but thanks! That's awesome that everyone of the kids is doing well and doing the things they love! Funny how as soon as I leave you start having missionaries over for dinner, maybe we'll have to invite some more when I get back from my mission or something. Um I don't know anything about plans for Christmas yet but I'll email you when I find out the det...
