Yeah General Conference was absolutely outstanding. We had breakfast and watched General Conference with a member family and they invited their neighbors from across the street. The funny thing was we talked about what happens after we die, the struggles we go through and others around us go through, and it was all talked about during General Conference. The wife was super excited about everything, so hopefully we'll have the opportunity to teach and share the gospel with the both of them soon. The two hour block is going to be kind of weird, but super nice. I guess we'll just have to see how it goes. Then all those temples, some of them were really close to China, so who knows, it could be opening up sometime in the near future.

Elida is doing really well. She passed her baptismal interview and is really excited for it coming up! She invited a ton of her family and said there'll probably be about 14 of them, so I'm hoping and praying a lot of members come to support her as well. It'll be her birthday as well, so we are super excited for her! I know, I know, I'll make sure to take plenty of pictures for you this week, I'm getting a tiny bit better, but its progress!

Super glad to hear about how everything is going back home. Sounds like Bryson is having a ton of fun over there, and it stinkin snowed?! Oh wait its Pinetop, for some reason my thought process was "Gilbert doesnt get snow, what in the world?!" But I'm glad he's having fun, that little stinker is gonna get a kick in the behind for every week he forgets to email... But otherwise thanks for those encouraging words, I'm trying to do what I can, and do it even better. Elder Utchdorf's quote about" Believe, Love, and Do" has been sticking with me so hopefully I can use the gospel to improve my actions as well. That's one thing I've been trying to do better with, is trying to reach out and love like Jesus Christ does, I'm going to try and have a better conscious about it.

Sounds like its crazy as ever over there. On our end over here, we got to go to the Squash Farm again and do a lot of demolition. We put roof tiles around trees and smashed them with a hammer, got to also try and punch the tile with a gloved hand, big mistake, my knuckles hurt for a good bit, the feet are much more effective. Then we also got to catch some mice in the stake building... Lets just say we spent a good amount of time trying to catch about 5 mice in the building in between sessions. Extremely entertaining though. Just imagine 6 missionaries running around the building and in rooms trying to catch mice with the church garbage cans. Now you have seen it all. Then last night while we were walking around we talked to this older man who told us a rocket was going off in a couple minutes, so we sat and watched with him as this test rocket shot off into the air and soared across the sky. It was pretty sweet to watch.

Whats the rest of the plans for Fall Break? And yeah, it has started to cool down, but I'm nice and cozy so no need to worry over here. The only thing I have to worry about is it gets dark at 7:00PM so thats fun. But we are working with it. LOVE YOU MOMMA!! I'll try and respond to emails today. Keep warm over there!!

Hi Momma!

Yeah I am in a new area, and in a new apartment which is a lot nicer than the older one I stayed in, just has a lot more room (I forgot to take pictures which I promise to do that). It's just me and Elder de La Torre in this apartment. From what I can tell you Elder de La Torre is from Las Vegas, Nevada which is super close to our mission and it turns out he is actually a "trial missionary" and he might be staying in this mission or be called to somewhere else. His mom is a member and his father is currently investigating in the church so it's pretty cool. He loves music and played in a mariachi band for a little while and did orchestra so he is pretty awesome, and he speaks fluent spanish which helps when we run into a lot of spanish speaking people here in Ontario.  Yeah it is kind of crazy how fast time has flown by honestly, I feel like I've been here for awhile even though I haven't and even though the end is far away it seems to be coming up kind of qu...

Question Time: 1. My week was definitely interesting, I'll tell you about it in a bit later on in this email. 2. I have no idea yet, I'll be in the office tomorrow so I'll look for it and see if it came in the mail. We don't open those suckers until later and its going to be quite a hassle trying to figure these things out before we roll out ALL the smartphones to all the missionaries but I am looking forward to it and seeing the success that can be found. And yes I will be becoming a Facebook missionary, whoopdy doo for you! 3. Ideas for him? Well I was thinking of trying to get him something but I keep running out of time and forgetting but don't tell him that. I LOVE HIM, just shipping is really expensive... But maybe something that I thought of is giving him a book series called Mystborn or another series by Brandon Sanderson, I heard his books are really awesome and I'll probably read them when I get back. I honestly don't know, you know better th...

Thanksgiving Week!

Hey Mom and Dad! This last week went by pretty slow for me (I think because it was week six of transfers so it felt weird). That's funny that all the kiddos want to sleep in, no more its time to get up and get work boys and girls! You guys already set up the Christmas tree? Nice! Sounds like you guys will be having a blast with the cousins up in Pinetop, make sure to send me some pictures! That's pretty funny that you got called to be the Sunday School President, I'm sure on of those kids is gonna need your help and love while you are fulfilling your calling. Teaching is going pretty interestingly, its the holidays so not many people are home or are with family outside the area but some more people are home so its odd but fun! I'll be spending Thanksgiving with a lesser active family called the Whites and they invited us for dinner so I'm happy for that! The Ward is absolutely amazing, the people are so nice to the missionaries and we practically have a dinner every...
