To answer all those questions. I got a priesthood blessing I believe two Fridays ago from my zone leaders, there is a lot of power that comes from those blessings. As for my Patriarchal Blessing, I accidentally left it down the valley and it took a couple of weeks to come up to the desert. I need to study it more sometime probably. To answer the question concerning I feel like I am wasting time. After serving in California, we talk to a lot of people, and most cases we dont even get a conversation with some people, most the times its just "No!" and a lot of hateful words. I realized I was putting more on myself in terms of expectations and other things, to sum it up, its hard out here. Tomorrow is District Council so if there is any mail it should be there, so I'll have to let you know next week if it made it. Yes I have been eating healthy, lots of vegetables, meats, everything needed on that food pyramid. The baptism on Saturday went really well. Elida had a lot of her family come to the baptism and we had a packed house in the relief society room with members and people to support her. It was also her birthday that day so a lot of people congratulated her and wished her a happy birthday!

When I pulled up my email there were a lot of people that reached out... Thank you Mom. There are a lot of mixed emotions going through me right now, and President Parker called me last night, not going to lie it was pretty weird talking to him after so long. In all honesty I really dont know what to talk about right now after what happened this week. I know I havent made a weekly in a while and I dont even know what to talk about. But I am very grateful for your loving example to me and everyone around you. My mind is just completely blank... Definitely next week I'll have some more things to say. I broke down a couple times throughout the week, but after Sunday I felt better for sure. Good night so many people emailed me this week I dont know if I'll be able to talk to all of them.

I'll try and make a weekly for this week to give a bit more detail. Otherwise I dont know what to say Mom, thank you so much... Its great to hear back from what happened for Fall Break and everything that happened. Thank you Momma! I LOVE YOU SO MUCH!! I'll try and find a photo and send it to you before the day ends.

How is your companion handling your struggles?

He's been doing better. He's grow to know how I'm feeling very quickly, apparently I am a very expressive individual. But I guess thats a good thing in this case. I've been feeling more at peace since Sunday but it is extremely difficult right now. Yeah I was very confused when an Arizona number starting calling us at about 8:00PM at night. Very strange but it was a good talk.

Dear Elder Brimhall,

Thanks for the picture!!! I love you! Thank you for sharing your heart! And for reaching out for help. We are meant to share our struggles so we can help lift each other up. Christ asked his friends to surround him before going to Gethsemane. I will stay with you. I love you!!!

Love, Mom

Elder Brimhall's letter brought me into a full on sob today. What a beautiful expression of his heart. Sure love that kid! And I love his mission president. They are not all that thoughtful, loving, and understanding.

Did You Think to Pray? I actually took pictures this week. And for some odd reason this computer is denying me the right to access those photos... Hold back the pitchforks for now, I'll fix the problem sometime soon. But besides from that one. The title comes from a praying mantis I saw while knocking on doors. I went to go ring a doorbell and there is this giant praying mantis guarding the bell. I ended up not wanting to fight the thing and knocked on the door. Something our mission does every transfer (which is a six week period of time kept by missionaries), we have this thing called a zone conference. And all the missionaries here in the desert got together. Which is always a fun experience being out for little over 13 months now seeing people I've grown to meet and love during my time here and catching up with them. But the whole reason we got together was to learn and grow in our service out here. And something that stuck out to me was learning to set goals, but mo...

Dear Elder Brimhall, Hey bud! Hope you're doing a bit better than last week. Last weeks email was hard to read...but I'm also grateful that you're sharing what you're feeling. I hope you can continue to be that open and honest with us. Please don't stop writing. I don't think I could handle that. We got to talk to President Taylor again on Friday night. He said that he had just talked to you and you seemed to be doing a bit better. He said that counseling seemed to be helping some too. Do you feel like your counselor is a good fit with you? Bryson is going to counseling weekly too and I've noticed he seems to be doing quite a bit better. We went to dinner at Karli's house tonight. Garrett turned 12 last week and received the Aaronic priesthood today. Crazy to believe that Grant is next for that. We had 3 different kinds of soups, homemade rolls, and then Karli had made a double chocolate layer cake with crumbled up Heath candy bar on top. Pre...

I heard about that from another email and all those posts on Facebook about it. Tell her I send her my best wishes and prayers for them. Be safe on the way there! That was fun to hear about Grant though, he'll become a superstar the more he works at it, and that basketball court will help out, tell him when I get back I'll ball with him!  Concerning that jacket, just something more casual, the only one I have is that big one from the beginning so its can get warm. Just something for the preparation days or just lounging around at night. Probably should have but more information on that request, my bad! You can have Bryson pick something out, I'll make sure to email him today and maybe he'll do the same. We had some really cool things happen this week though. We started teaching this older couple, Ralph and Terry, and they are such great people. Ralph is currently in a wheelchair because he lost a foot, and I swear the jokes he cracks are phenomenal. This is my f...
