Question Answering Time~
1. My eyes have been straining if I wear my glasses for too long so I take them off when I dont need them on, so that has been helping. Otherwise I heard back from the optometrist today that my glasses would be coming in tomorrow so I'll be able to pick them up soon.
2. I haven't looked at my debit card at all to be completely honest. When I get the chance I'll make sure to do that.
3. I know California has been heating up pretty good, its a little unfortunate to be wearing a white shirt and tie with dress slacks in this weather but hey, at least I am in the office to compensate the heat. But still, its warm, REALLY WARM.

Oh man Grant is feeling good as well? I woke up with a terrible stomach bug, to put it in very brief detail I went to the bathroom multiple times and I still feel terrible. Tried resting for 2 hours but that kind of helped, not really though. I just hope it rubs off soon otherwise we probably wont be able to go out and proselyte. Being sick sucks, especially in the mission field. Not fun, at all.

This email is going to be pretty short mom, so I am extremely sorry. I have almost no energy to type let alone do anything else so I apologize. Next week I should be feeling better enough so I can give a better account of what happened throughout the week here.

Really warm weather is not a lot of fun out here. Especially when people wont open their door to give off some cool air or some shade under their patio. But such is life. We were able to meet with some of our "people we are teaching", the termed got switched from Investigators so its a bit odd. Otherwise though lots of knocking doors, we have a couple return appointments with some people this upcoming week so NEXT WEEK should be a better email. I'll make sure to take pictures as well, dont you worry momma. Otherwise LOVE YA MOM, sorry that its so short. I feel so drained right now but have fun in California and Utah! Tell everyone I said HI!

Question Time: 1. My week was definitely interesting, I'll tell you about it in a bit later on in this email. 2. I have no idea yet, I'll be in the office tomorrow so I'll look for it and see if it came in the mail. We don't open those suckers until later and its going to be quite a hassle trying to figure these things out before we roll out ALL the smartphones to all the missionaries but I am looking forward to it and seeing the success that can be found. And yes I will be becoming a Facebook missionary, whoopdy doo for you! 3. Ideas for him? Well I was thinking of trying to get him something but I keep running out of time and forgetting but don't tell him that. I LOVE HIM, just shipping is really expensive... But maybe something that I thought of is giving him a book series called Mystborn or another series by Brandon Sanderson, I heard his books are really awesome and I'll probably read them when I get back. I honestly don't know, you know better th...

Hi Momma!

Yeah I am in a new area, and in a new apartment which is a lot nicer than the older one I stayed in, just has a lot more room (I forgot to take pictures which I promise to do that). It's just me and Elder de La Torre in this apartment. From what I can tell you Elder de La Torre is from Las Vegas, Nevada which is super close to our mission and it turns out he is actually a "trial missionary" and he might be staying in this mission or be called to somewhere else. His mom is a member and his father is currently investigating in the church so it's pretty cool. He loves music and played in a mariachi band for a little while and did orchestra so he is pretty awesome, and he speaks fluent spanish which helps when we run into a lot of spanish speaking people here in Ontario.  Yeah it is kind of crazy how fast time has flown by honestly, I feel like I've been here for awhile even though I haven't and even though the end is far away it seems to be coming up kind of qu...

Did You Think to Pray? I actually took pictures this week. And for some odd reason this computer is denying me the right to access those photos... Hold back the pitchforks for now, I'll fix the problem sometime soon. But besides from that one. The title comes from a praying mantis I saw while knocking on doors. I went to go ring a doorbell and there is this giant praying mantis guarding the bell. I ended up not wanting to fight the thing and knocked on the door. Something our mission does every transfer (which is a six week period of time kept by missionaries), we have this thing called a zone conference. And all the missionaries here in the desert got together. Which is always a fun experience being out for little over 13 months now seeing people I've grown to meet and love during my time here and catching up with them. But the whole reason we got together was to learn and grow in our service out here. And something that stuck out to me was learning to set goals, but mo...
